We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 30, 2017.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 4, 2017.
We started processing your application on November 1, 2017.
We sent you a notice on December 4, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 5, 2018 at 1:15 PM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

DM since Jan 23, North York applicant.
Test was in Mississauga. Not sure where will be the ceremony. Some say it can be in Scarborough and others that it must in Mississauga only.
Also saw messages about part time judges and delays due to that. Not sure how authentic the information is. My friend who applied way long after me, got test and ceremony already, and he is from Woodbridge.

Our turn is coming hopefully let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope by May Month our process are finished.my application was also send and Aug 25 and receive Aug 28 good luck.
Today was the Oath Ceremony. It went smooth and happily. There were 72 persons. The judge made an introduction, then we took the oath. Then the judge distribute the certificates and finally we sang O Canada and then left.
I would like to thank all of you in this thread. You were all helpful, and I built a good relationship with most of you here.
Thank you again, and I wish all of you a quick citizenship journey. A last advice that should be helpful for all, be patient. Ultimately, everyone of us will get the citizenship!
