My application will be 7 months (AOR Aug 2)old tomorrow at the London VO, I also got the recent change in background status from NA to IP.... I intend to send a mail tomorrow and ask about the reason for the long processing time .... although the last correspondence at 6 months and two weeks went unanswered by LVO despite Ottawa responding ..,
We will get there folks , cheers
Do you mean you didn't get a reply to your email even after a month?
Hi... We have similar timeline. My AOR is April 14th, 2017, ip2 29th Nov 2017. Received medical request on the 26th of January 2018. Please what's your stream?
OINP, FSWP, do u have any idea whats our stage ? IP1 IP2 ?
Your PCCs might involve a final review. Not clearing IP1 suggests that.
Thanks for your reply
London Visa office is taking that long time for every application or just for some complicated?? My file is now at London VO, January 2018 AOR.... I am at IP2...
How long will it take to PPR? I have heard few days.. but how about applicant in London VO?
Any experience?
Thanks

Overall processing time of LVO is higher than all others so nothing to do with your file. Even applicants from Sept & Oct are still waiting.. Do you have any idea when ur file moved to London..
For those whose review of additional documents section changed to not applicable:
Has anyone’s status changed back to donot need additional documents?
no change yet. still the same.

Hello Bill Hyatt.
I sent an email to London visa Office on 20th feburary and i got the following Response on the same day:
Please be advised that your application is awaiting final review in our London office.
We thank you for your patience at this time. Rest assured we will contact if you if we require further information or additional documents.
Sincerely,
VCM
can you kindly give me your valuable insight regarding the above email. what they really mean by that and in which stage my application is?
My AOR is 26th July, 2017 and moved to IP2 on 27th feburary.
Review of additional documents section says that We do not need additional documents.
Regards
Slmaan
London send a different kind of replies and most common are as follow:
- Awaiting Review: That is your file is still not opened
- Background Check: This means a file is reviewed by the analyst but results of a background check are pending.
- Final Review: This means a file is opened and being processed. However, Background Check Results or Final decision from an analyst or both are pending.
- Approved: This means a file is approved but for some reasons, PPR is still not issued.
I hope this will help.
There is an another scheduled maintenance by IRCC on March 6 and if the current statuses were an error or technical glitch then they will change back otherwise these IP2 statuses will be confirmed.

Hi Bill, do you know if it is possible to request GCMS notes after once application has been approved? Just to have an idea the different stages and duration for each stage that once application went through.
