Citizenship application in August 2017

Finally as of today I am a canadian citizen. Took me 6 months n 23 days. Good luck everyone and thank you all for the help.

Just a quick note, during the in process stage, i did a web inquiry and asked them to process my case faster as i have travel plans and guess what i got the test invite after 3 days. May be i was just lucky.

Guys I had my test today at Mississauga location. I got 19/20 without even reading the books. I did practice few online tests online.
They checked my passport, PR card, Health Card and Drivers license. Officer said I have granted you Citizenship and soon there will an invitation for Oath Ceremony.

You should be glad now. The other part not reading the book I cannot endorse as a safer or best option.

Just got the Maple leaf passport for all of the family members today. (I was not in rush to apply for it. I got it in a week though they say you need two weeks. Note that I applied directly to passport office in Hamilton downtown) . End of the journey. Wish a good luck for those are in process.

It’s depends on the office I have DM for almost 3 months but I leave in Scarborough,but Mississauga is way faster maybe about 1-2 months good luck.

That is really frustrating.

Mine is since Jan 23.(North York)
The delay is messing up my travel plans
