I think you will give the photos to the officer on the border when you do the landing. They will submit an application for your PR card and take your photo.
Hi,
Since my application is with an immigration consultant I didn't have access to CIC account, on ECAS I saw DM on 11/Feb but my consultant had received PPR email in 9/Feb.
Do you know when was the passport delivered?
You could also call CIC number and find out through that automated system if your application is approved.
My CIC account will show your counterfoil number once application has been approved.
I'm not quite sure about the significance of this last step. Getting a PPR implies that we are through, right..

I think that you must be getting approved status before next Thursday that's how the pattern has been lately. Within a week they usually mailed it back to us.
I called cic and automated message says " we are reveiwing if u meet eligibility criteria. Additional documents u provided are being reveiwed. Ur medical results were successful. U donot need an interview and fingerprints".
Where do u think guys my application is at which stage? And how long after that ?

Guys, question!
I kind of want to take advantage of me needing to go to the border in order to get my permanent residence. I was thinking, what if instead of doing flagpoling I just take a crazy weekend in Vegas and then come back to Canada after that? Would that work for my PR? what implications would that have?
I appreciate your comments and thoughts!
