My application was received on Feb 1, 2018. I still haven't gotten my aor1, my question is I sent a letter from my employer but am going to a different firm starting March 1, 2018. I assume I need to send a letter from a new employer correct? do I just mail a copy of that letter to Missisauga's address? I think this will cause delay as I have no application number to link my new employer letter to? Any idea how I should do this or when? Can I wait until I get aor1 so I have application #?

Wait till u get aor1 .. usually after a month from the date u sent u app will u get this confirmation .. mar 1 maybe ..

2nd of all .. when u get the aor1, it will have ur application number etc .. while cic is reviewin ur file, send them the new employer letter along with an explanation with ur file number etc noted on ur letter .. this way ur covered and will hv no fear that ur letter will be lost ..

After they request the passport, how long does it take for them to send it back?!

I got mine in 2 days Alhamdulilah when my husband submitted the passport

I am july 18th applicant, no response. nothing not at all.. its been more than 5 months, file transferred to LVO no word since then
