I tried to call them to see what's happening with my application, but I couldn't get through to an agent. I'm October 7th.

Just keep calling the agent. I called three times this morning and the first two calls said cic is currently experiencing high volume call and i need to call later. finally the last time i called i can talk to a real person and i waited for 35 minutes.

Upfront medical: June 2017.

Likely another couple of months. They just got to me three days ago and I did it Sept. 30th.
Who knows, maybe it will take less. It really varies.
