Name difference in passport and reference letter .

Hi Folks,

I have one query regarding name difference .

On all my docs - education certificates , wes , ielts , passport , PAN , all govt id proofs - my name is just single name "Rohit"

but on my employment docs everywhere - payslips , experience letter , reference letter , offer letter ,as last name was mandatory by employers -- my name is

"Rohit Kumar " .


I am very stressed about this , will an notarized affidavit or letter of explanation work ?

Even I have similar kind of difficulty ..in my passport the name is different with surname elaborated ..N in all the official documents the name is normal just with the initials ...before applying for the transcripts should I ask for any name change or should I make changes in my passport

facing the same issue. All documents with my first name except my job experience letter and payslips. How did you deal with it?
