hi i was visited to india every year 2-3 months .last 4 years total 8-9 months never lived there not more than 3 months does i need to get police certificate from india?
HI all i have a question regarding the Question 10 b . about police ceritficate to be provided in the past 4 years.
"Within the last 4 years, if you spent 183 days or more in another country (other than Canada), you must provide a police certificate. You must provide a police certificate for each country where you spent 183 days or more. If you cannot get a police certificate, tell us why."
First landing in Canada was on august 2014 and planning to apply now to citizenship now.
as the 4 years they are asking about after the Landing "being eligible to apply" or even before being eligble to apply which means before landing.

On my eligibility period I am working on 1 employer only, (straight for 5 years). When I get my PR status I went for a part time job, so there is gap on my second job. Do I need to write an explanation for this? please help,
Yes if you provide the explanation by adding another line there for the gap between the jobs . You will have smooth application process. Otherwise they might have question chance to ask you a question about the gap
He's passport is going to expire this coming April, 2018. He's going to submit his citizenship application this February, by the time he will go for his interview (hopefully), he doesn't, have a valid passport.Do you think guys, he needs to renew his passport? what are the requirements for interview?

Hi Folks, I'm putting documents together for citizenship application. Can someone please help me with question no 11 on the application form CIT0002. the rows and columns are too small for all that information. So I guess I will be using a separate sheet for that question. How did you guys fill this question? and other thing which address CIC wants to know in that question. Is that employer address or applicant's? what address should be mentioned while someone is unemployed or at vacation? Thank You!
You never know when you will get your Canadian passport and emergency if you have to travel out. Sometimes you need to provide lot of explanations to get renew your passport..
I am new here, and I need advise, Please help. A week ago I went to one of those companies that helps you prepare and file your income taxes. Everything was done,However it was mentioned to me that the Online tool for tax submissions from CRA was down, and wouldn't be submitted until it is back up online which is Feb. 26. I sent my application few days ago. However, I realized I made a mistake in the section of the application where it asks me about the taxes. For the year 2017, I ticked Yes to "Have you filed 2017 Tax?". According to the courier, the package is in transit and will be delivered by the end of this week. I am getting really anxious. Going through the PR process alone was stressful, and I hope this is not same
Hopefully it should be alright. The timing is everything in your case. File your taxes for 2017 as soon as the online tool is available on Feb 26th. Don't worry, it will be ok
