parents should do blood test and X-ray, bring all info about all surgeries - that"s regular.
If CIC decide they need more info, they will ask you to take some specialist, like in my case cause my dad had a stroke .

Usually people do medicals once cic send the request to do medicals, so what I understand from you is that we can do medicals for my parents without getting medical request and that's allowed by cic, l and if they need any additional tests to be done then they will send a request for that, is my understanding correct?

nope, you are waiting medical request, doctor should get forms from CIC for that.

Hi everyone, I am just able to link my account today. Appt received on Oct 4.

In the online file it said “your action is required ”, but no message for that, and I have never got an email requested anything. Should I call CIC for this?

Don't worry about the message "your action is required", it shows by default. If CIC needs anything, they will email you.

I'd wait for the medical request from IRCC. Medical is valid for only a year and you don't want to repeat and waste money/time if the application takes longer to process.

That's a standard message. Keep an eye out for any emails or messages within your IRCC profile.

I have sent the request form to add my younger sister last November they confirmed that they will forward to the visa office my request and I will be contacted for the next steps but until now I have not received any instructions. How about you?

What is SA? My parents application was received on May 4, 2017. AOR on Aug 4,2017. I requested to add a dependent ;my younger sister 21yo) on November 2017 and they said they will forward the request to my visa office but I have not heard anything the status of the application was stuck in “application received”

Do you mind if I ask for your timeline? When was the application received? Did you add any dependents to your parents? When was the medical exam requested? From what country your parents from?

What does "Decision Made" mean?

Was the decision “approved” your timeline is very quick..did they not ask for medicals or passport?
