Hello I am worried
I sent my passport on February 14
Post canada said They received it on February 15th at 7AM 10
I am worried that my passport might be lost as I called cic on friday and the agent told me that she doesn't see any passport in the system.
Is it happened to somebody that post Canada lost his pasport
I am worried because my application didn't change to approved
Please HELP it is my passport
It takes 2 weeks for approval for passport copies, and 4 weeks for passports, on average. Only 3 days have passed since you sent your passport!
If post canada says they delivered it, then they did. Your passport is with CIC but they did not start to process it yet. Please do not panic, stay calm and wait! Nothing should happen in 3 days at all, and now it is weekend on top of it.

Please refer to the passport tracker for extremely detailed information on passport timelines. I shared the link here many times, and you can also find it in my signature.
I hope this helps.

Dear Friends who have already got the PR based on QSW

Please let me know when exactly IRCC issues medical request.. Is it after certain months of application they receive or after certain months of AOR.

Is that also varies based on inland and outland... Also, before issuing the Medical, can we assume that all other processes part of Federal PR has been completed.....

Thanks

Please refer to the spreadsheet with application timelines for applicants here (the first link in my signature). Medical request timelines vary a lot. Also, receiving medical request does not mean that other parts were completed. My eligibility assessment started after 12 months of having sent my application in, and all other parts started at that time too. Only security was started before, around the medical request.

So, here is another bit of info that might help someone.
I sent my passport for PR visa and they received it on Tuesday, 13th of Feb. and today I checked my status and it changed from the usual stuff to this:

Application status: A final decision has been made. Please see the final decision below.
Review of eligibility: Your eligiblity has been reviewed. Please see the final decision below.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: Your background check was completed.
Final decision: Your application was approved. Check your messages below for details.

There were no new messages "below" for the details.. :)
It is normal. Mine is same. Don't worry.

Hi All , need an urgent help , when I log in with gckey I found two messages. On 16th Feb a message is there for submitting schedule A form again but on 17th Feb saw another message for pre-arrival service but in my Gmail I only get one mail for schedule A form. Should I get another email for pre-arrival service. What exactly is pre-arrival service and what does it mean to my PR progress.
My application is 16th months old. Please help.

You should start by doing the research on Immigration Quebec website, and CIC website. It is unfair to ask other applicants to start explaining the whole system - it is easier to help if you have some specific questions and concerns. I suggest to start with the eligibility test on Immigration Quebec website.

All new folk... There are very useful spreadsheets that can help you estimate your application timeline, or at least see how it has been for people on this forum in the past few months. Please do look at them and add your details too.

Application timelines

Also Express Entry subforum has threads for Passport tracking by month.

I sent my passports on 10th of Feb. I just checked and the tracking number was activated on 16th from ottawa. Has reached montreal on 17th. I am hoping to get it tomorrow. It is too early for a non visa exempt country. Any thoughts?

Easy part is done for him now :p

If I was in his situation, then would have gone for long vacation to Goa after PPR and then would have told CIC upon return- "Nahh... I am good. After this 6.5 years ordeal, I would prefer to stay in India".

Thank you Taemee, for sharing your informations, we have one week difference between my status and yours.
I recieved PPR thursday, 15th of Feb, I sent my passport this morning. did you get back your passport ? How much time it takes to get back the passport from Ottawa ? what's the next step when your passport is back? could i flagpoling close to where i live (Sherbrooke)?

Thanks for your help
I am hoping to get my passport back today.. canada post website says, it is out for delivery. How long will it take for you? No idea. should not be more than 4 weeks anyway. flag poling is something I have done at least 4 times to get my WP renewed for various reasons. every single time I went to st bernard which is the most common place...
