Hello all,
I've got a quick question that I can't see an answer for online.
I'm in the Express Entry Pool, and know it'll take up to 6 months to process my application. In the meantime I'm keeping an eye on the CRS scores for the latest round of ITAs, however am not sure if I do receive an ITA whether it will be only after the 6-month 'processing' period or at any time when the CRS score is low enough to include me. I'm only a point away at the moment, so don't want to get excited if I have to wait 6-months and gauge the scores then.
Does this make sense??
If you are in the Express Entry Pool and have not received an ITA - thus have not submitted your actual PR application, then there is no processing that would take 6 months. When you are in EE pool you get a CRS score. At every draw there is a cut-off, people having CRS score equal or grater than the cut-off are sent ITA.
So let's say your current CRS is at 439 and last two draws have been 440 then your EE profile is simply waiting, there is no processing going on it. let's say that on the next draw the cut-off goes down to 430, then you'll receive your ITA and have 90 days to submit your application.
Your "processing" will commence after you have submitted your PR application. Even though CIC mentions that average time of processing is 6 months for me and many others it took 1 month (28 days) from e-APR to PPR.
My wife had MBA from ICFAI Kolkatta, she also got another Masters from US. WES evaluated her credentials equivalent to double Masters. What's your Canadian equivalency according to WES? How is it affecting your CRS score? so long as your CRS is above 450 you should be in good shape.
My WES is in process and is due for completion next week. Problem is IBS institutes provide only PGPM certificates that are not affiliated to any university. The good part (hope so) is I and my wife also choose to do an MBA (distance) during the same time from ICFAI, DEHRADUN which is UGC recognized. So we both have PGPM from IBS, Bengaluru and MBA degree from ICFAI, DEHRADUN. I know that they won't consider the PGPM equivalent to Masters, however, from reading all other posts, hope they evaluate MBA at least to Canadian Masters for which me and my wife will get full points for Masters, thereby boosting the crs to 460.

No point worrying about it now. Let the WES evaluation come, then decide depending on your CRS score.
Hello, I received NOI from Ontario today, can someone please explain?
Should I accept it?
I think it's better to wait and see the draws since I have 45 days.
It depends on how many CRS points you have?
I didn't have enough CRS points for what the draws are at the moment, so I applied with my invite to Ontario and got my 600 points and received ITA just recently. It takes a bit longer but if you start collecting all your information for Ontario then it will help even if you get an ITA, as they require a lot of the same information. Hope that helps
Hello,
I have Indian PCC dated of 08/12/2017. My current CRS is 993 (after oinp) and expecting to get ITA on 22nd Feb. Should I apply with that PCC or get new one? I read somewhere that Indian PCC is valid for 6 month if you stay in the same country. Need suggestions

Hi everyone?
Can someone use a postdoc offer as a job offer and get some scores for the EE application?
Hello People
Need your help/advice/suggestion.
1. My IELTS score is valid till 19th March 2018. I will get my WES Report by 14th and hope to submit my EE by Feb end. Now can anyone confirm, if a do a EE submission, will my profile still remain valid (till i get a TIA call) after 19th March when my IELTS expires?.
2. Will I be allowed to update my EE profile (Wifes IELTS score and WES Report) and I do my EE submission.
Thank you in advance.
Regards
Niladri

Good day people, is deportation from another country on illegal immigrant status a red flag for Canada PR application?

Technically, if you have stayed more than 6 months, you will have to provide the PCC, which would be tricky in that case. Rest, let other users to respond on this question.

Hello guys, I need a confirmation. If I only have my Master's degree assessed by WES, should I mentioned all my other degrees like bachelors in the EE profile before ITA. If not then where should I mention this as there is no personal history tab in the EE profile page. Do we need to do that when we get ITA?
Thanks

WES always ask bachelors transcripts as well for Masters evaluation. so you should be good here.

WES never asked for my Bachelors transcripts. They just got the Masters transcripts directly from my university and WES just assessed that. I got this all done in 2014. I believe if we need to claim points then we need to add the details in the EE profile. I am guessing that just mentioning my Masters degree in education tab in EE profile for which I have ECA from WES I will not need to mention my bachelors degree. Just need clarification on this part.

Following is mentioned on WES website:
For all applicants submitting a Master’s Degree or PGDip earned on top of a three-year Bachelor’s Degree (12+3+2), you must also provide your Bachelor’s degree documents. WES cannot complete an evaluation without these documents.

Now, to answer your question, when I filled my express entry profile, I have to mention both Bachelors and Masters, since, one degree is being evaluated from IQAS and one was done from WES
