My parents: Request for submission of passports in 8 months.

I received an email they have to go to Ankara or Istanbul within 30 days in person or through an authorized representative.

Yes they have to go in person or through an authorized representative.

Is there anyone still waiting for further update after application receipt.

I applied in July 2017
AOR received Nov 8 2017

After that no update yet. All my friends who applied at the same time have their status updated to in process. Mine still shows application received only.

After sponsorship approval ,file forwards to Ottawa after that file just showing application received nothing further in process message.

Please confirm if any one get response from cic regarding this issue

Hi, i have a question regarding tracking sheet, how do we know when the background check started , in my case it just says background check is in progress but i am not sure of the exact date, to my guess it is like this since around Nov 15.

Also my application says " you have passed the medical results" around the same date Nov 15, please update the tracking sheet., Waiting for PPR since Nov 15 , fingers crossed.

Same here, applied in first lot of 2017 got SA on 31 July, 2017, file sent to Ottawa -LVO. No response after that, still waiting . It seems like only London-LVO files have been processed. Ottawa has big backlog !!

mine BC is in process since summer, see like it looks like

Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I think they didnt start ur BC yet

They mentioned: please DO NOT/NOT send your passports to the VAC by mail or courier as they will not/not be able to accept them or to send them back to you.

Hello, I have a quick question concerning the mechanics of the sponsorship process for people living in Quebec. I don't know if this thread is the appropriate one, so I'm copying my question for the other thread.
Maybe someone could give me a hand:

if I understood correctly, to sponsor your parents the order is:

you put your name in the ballout and pray to be selected by the IRCC, in case you are selected you get an e-mail inviting you to apply for the sponsorship program, and here is my question:

What is the next step for someone resident of Quebec?

After getting the green light from IRCC, should I send my undertaking documents to Quebec and after that I get the CSC I will send my package to the IRCC ? Or Should I apply to the IRCC, wait for their approval (which may take a couple of years ) and later request a CSC from Quebec ? I'm kinda confused on the appropriate order and I would much appreciate if someone have had this experience!
