I am wondering if everyone they go to in process first and then get SA or I am the only one who is in process and waiting for SA.

It's 'in process' until you get SA, will change to 'decision made' after that.

You re not the only one, my application is in process since jan 25th, my application was received at 31st July and AOR 20 Nov.

Mine received July 28 and AOR Nov 20 and in process since Jan 25.

hi parents for my file they send confirmation on last week of July 2017 too and forward it to New-Delhi office. still showing status application received not in process yet

Good thing your applications are moving. Mine was received July 12, 2017. AOR was quick at Aug 29, 2017. After that, total silence.

Yes. I've linked it.

I landed 2015 (flagpole in Niagara Falls) but working since 2013 via TWP so I have all the NOAs needed.

I have both of my parents alive, but my father is very sick and completely bed ridden and have medical complexities and issues. Considering that I only wanted to apply for my mother. I am confused while filling the application form as it is asking me following question
"Tell us the number of persons you want to sponsor and their family members. (required)

Count the number of parents and grandparents you want to sponsor AND their dependants (spouse or partner and dependent children). You must also include the dependants who will not come to Canada with your parents or grandparents.
"
Should i write 1 here as I am only intenting to apply for my mother or should i write 2 here including my father(however I don't wish to apply for his immigration)

Please respond

You need to mention both parents. Unless they're divorced or legally separated both will appear for medical, even though the father is not accompanying your mother . If one fails, the app would be rejected.

ECAS Status: My application was received May 23, 2017 , Started processing application on June 20, 2017. Email received on June 21, 2017, about application forwarded to visa office in CPC-Ottawa

ECAS status in detail:
Sponsorship application status : Decision made
Permanent residence application status: Application received

After this It has been more than 7 months, no update at all !! I have also linked the application recently.

even if you only want to sponser your mom, you father have to pass the medical test as well ... if he fails, the application will be refused ... even if you do not wish to sponser him
