I did manage to link the PR card application to my MyCIC.
I guess we will wait and see about the photo... I did some googling yesterday and it seems that there are others who received back their second photo as well and were not asked to submit anything further. It could be that they have scanned my photo in Ottawa and it is in their files... But on the other hand, we do know that some applicants have to resubmit photos for PR card. I don't understand why it's so random with the photos.
So guys, you think that confusion and wait ends when your CoPR is stamped at the border??? Nope
@Betula, Can you please tell me after how many days you tried linking the PR card application?
I did tried so many times, but i am unable to link it, not sure what is the reason.

I landed on Jan 26th and I linked the application yesterday Jan 30th. Mine worked out with the UCI number and my family name, and whatever they asked after that (passport issuing country, city of birth etc.).

Ok thank you, i think we should try with "city name, province name" in "city of birth" field, isnt?
Because i am trying with just city name, and i am unable to link it.
I almost completed my 14 months and i call them they said they are doing background check and they are not sure how much time it will take.
Do anyone know how to know how to find where my file is stucked in bc check ?

Stay patient. As you can see from the spreadsheet in the first link in my signature, it is taking 90 days and more to receive the confirmation email. You can only then link your application to your online account, as they will give you an application number in it.
No need, after landing, the second day,I linked pr card application to mycic,my wife as well,if they need photot again, they will send you message in mycic account.
My friend has got her CoPR recently and the last date of entry mentioned is actually not the last date she filled in the travel history application form. Is there a reason why is that so ? Could it be a problem ?
Actually, she did not even put that date, since the form asks for only trips done excluding country of citizenship. And the date mentioned on the CoPR is the trip made to the home country. While she has travelled to US after that, and she listed the US trip dates as the last trip made.

It depends on the work load of the Visa office in which your application has been assigned.
However as per the current trend an Inland applicant is getting their visas in 14-15 months whereas some other visa offices are taking a bit long up to 18-19 Months too.
So, kindly note that it totally depends on the visa office.
Thank you sunnymks for your always kind response. Hope IRCC considers expediting our applications. As a theory they should not have more QSW applications to process except applied in 2016(Oct-Dec) and of 2017. Beside that they didnt processed CSQ for 10,000 intakes applied in 2016 and not sure how many inland applications they had in 2017
We received COPR and visa. I have a little issue, for my partner, his name's ok. But in my visa and COPR, it doesn't have middle name? Is it because I have two first names? Is it ok? Will there be an issue later since it doesn't have my middle name? Kindly advise please. Many thanks and God bless.
