why your MP is saying 1.5 yrs means 18 months. this is only for application before Dec 7th, 2016
It clearly stated on CIC Website

he said to me that it may go over the 1 yr processing time .. no clue how much of this is true ..

I wish this was true. According to my local MP's assistant/ jerk, he inquired on my behalf ONCE in december and told me to check back end of January. Upon my email, he responded that "it is ur responsibility to check on ur file. And doing inquiries delays our process". I feel like swearing at him! He is the one who told me to check back and now he's being a jerk. These people are useless! Im in pak otherwise i would go in personally to give him a piece of my mind!

You should have responded back with that. You are following up because you were advised to. And it's lies it doesn't slow the process down and if you are already past your 18 month processing time then what delays? They are already behind in assessing your application! I swear the system here his getting worse by the day!

next is waiting but nothing. sit and relax for at least 3-4 months if no update after then inquire from LVO or via your local MP.

Can someone please share if you guys ordered gcms notes recently and received them within 30 days?? I have seen people getting them late recently.. is it a good idea to order them as my interview is on march 6? Will i be able to receive it before that? Any idea would help. Thanks.

yes i counted it for my app and selected Yes in the checkbox



you dont need to enter your info since you are sponsor. leave as is.



you send photocopies always. make sure it is a certified copy. dont send originals. yes send the certified english translation also.

It doesn't. Only translations have to have a true translation and notarized copies of the original.

i wonder what is the difference between initial and ful review - the words or the action?
