Toronto have a Oath ceremony on 15 FEBRUARY lets hope some of the June and July applicants get invite,normally it’s large ceremony I think the last one was 500 people so goodluck to everyone fingers crossed.

I have my test on Jan 31 and I realized that I dont have my landed passport and COPR with me as I have submitted it to Indian consulate when I applied for my child's OCI three weeks back. I called BLS today and they say it is still in process with the Indian Consulate. Can I go to the test and explain my situation to the officer who verifies the originals or should I try to go to the Indian consulate and get my originals tomorrow? Please note that I have my current Indian passport with me. I landed in Canada with my previous passport, so I had submitted that along with the COPR to BLS.

Please advise on what I should be doing. Thanks.

@Brampton1 why your application took that long, are you from middle east or have you traveled to middle east country during your eligibility period?.

Neither I am from middle east nor I have ever been to middle east.
It will be 10 months on the day of oath which I think is normal.
I applied in May and in process from June 21st 2017

I cleared my test on 17th and the ecas hasn't changed to decision made yet.
Hope it gets changed soon

I also submitted a T1 Adjustment in response to a notice of reassessment in November which is not reflected on my cra account. Could that also have an impact on the delay?

I would think not. Likely just security or criminality checks taking longer.

I have recently joined this forum. I took my test last week and now waiting for next step.
One of my friend got oath invite immediately after the interview. It was Mississauga test centre...i don't know why Scarborough takes too long..

Did my test on November 29 DM 30 and I expect to wait until probably April for Oath if I am lucky fingers crossed.
