Hi,
I have a Post Graduate Diploma from the UK. I have also got the credentials verified from WES. When I add this in my Education History of the express entry profile, there is no option of Post Graduate Diploma or two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. The only options I can select are -
1. Master's degree or professional degree needed to practice in a licensed profession
2. Bachelor’s degree or other programs (three or more years) at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute.
If I select either of the options, my score changes. My score with Master's option would be 472, with Bachelor's option would be 457 and with two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees option would be 466. Plus, it would mean I am lying about my educational credentials and getting banned from 5 years from applying. I had received an ITA in 10th January draw. I withdrew it because of this small issue. How do I deal with this problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
You enter each credential individually then the system will give you the appropriate points.

Hi,
I have been working in Canada on a closed work permit (intra company transfer) for 6 months and worked in the US for the same employer since August 2014. Will I be able to claim the 50 points for the below question in the federal skilled worker application? I have been working with the employer for 3.5 years but have only been in Canada for 6 months now.
Has _____ been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year? (Or for an equal amount of part time work?)
Thank you

No. You'll have to work for 6 more months in order to claim such points (assuming you meet all other requirements).

Thanks, but isn't that equivalent to applying under CEC then which the minimum requirement is to have 1 year work experience in Canada?

It is not equivalent. If you have a valid job offer you'd be able to claim 50 extra points that applicants with an open work permit for example wouldn't be able to claim with a year of Canadian work experience.
So you can either: apply as a FSW applicant without a valid job offer.
OR: apply as a CEC applicant with a year of Canadian work experience AND a valid job offer.
Hi all,
I have Canadian experience of one year actually its bit confusing.let me explain
First job-- 27 dec 2016- March 10, 2017
There is gap of 10 days in between them
Second job-- 20 March, 2017- 29 Dec, 2017
Please tell me this counted as complete one year or not for express entry
@TanakaM I have entered all the credentials appropriately but still I can’t see the option for two or more degrees or diplomas. I have written an email to IRCC but as usual, I still haven’t received a reply. If I choose Bachelors, my points reduce. If I choose Masters, my point increase but that would mean I lie. Chosing either options is not good for me. I can’t even call the IRCC as people from outside India canno’t call the number. I don’t know what to do. I don’t have any option but to wait for IRCC to reply. That is the reason I shared my problem here.

There is no option that says two or more....
Have you done the following?
1. Xyz uni... Bachelor's degree .... 2010
2. And uni... diploma..... 2015
If you have, the system should give you the correct points.
Yes I have done that, but after adding each eductaional credential, there comes an question asking level of education. In that it is mandatory to select an option. If I Don’t select anything, I don’t get points for education. So last time I selected masters as an option I got 7 points extra which caused the problem.

For bachelor's degree select bachelor's degree and for the diploma I'm sure there is a diploma option. Please take a screen shot of the option you are getting.
Hi,
how do add a screenshot here?

Hi,
how do add a screenshot here?
You just paste it on to your response.
My husband is the main applicant.
I have work experience but not in Canada. Do I have to put it on our profile or can I put no? I read something about putting it in the e-APR. I'm not claiming any points and I don't want to have to ask them for an experience letter.
Is that allowed? Has anyone done it?
Hi guys,
I received my ITA in the last month and my application and supporting documents are ready for submission except the PCC from one city where I stayed merely 5 months back in 2010 - 11. I have secured the PCCs for all other placed where I stayed throughout my life, within my country and abroad. Following are the details:
1. From birth till 2007 (City A) – Received PCC
2. From 2007 to October 2010 (City B) – Received PCC
3. From Oct 2010 – Feb 2011 (City C) – Waiting for the PCC for this duration.
4. From March 2011 – January 2013 (City D) – Received PCC
5. From January 2013 – January 2015 (Overseas) – Received PCC
6. From February 2015 – present (City D) – Received PCC.
I am waiting for the PCC from “City C”, as mentioned above, for the last one month as someone else, on my behalf, is following up the process. Not sure when I would be able to get it. This is a remote city in my country and travelling there cost me time, which I can’t afford at present. I wonder if it would be a problem submitting my application without my PCC from “City C” mention above. Please help.
Cheers!
