Why would it say Background check Not applicable? I thought they background check everybody.

It will be changed after Medical passed, when they start BC

Yes. Our application was received in Mississauga 6 months ago. Just did medical and police report 2 weeks ago.

Just a quick question. Your application was in london Visa office first. whats the reason they transferred to Mississauga??

Mississauga was the first step. It was sent to London 2 months ago.

I was checking my status ecas online and just realized under my sponsorship application it says in process. Have not received any email or anything. The last email I got was AOR. Waiting for SA. Anyone any idea as to what is happening. What should I expect.

Hi All,

I received letter from CIC for SA and the file is now moved to Ottawo for further processing. My parents live in India...I though they will move the file to New Delhi. Not sure, if they first move to Ottawo and them move to Delhi later...

What would be the next step ?

usually if you dont have siblings case goes to Ottawa. next step is Medical and police request

Hi,

Did you get in process first then letter or directly got letter for SA. If you had in process then how long it took from in process to getting SA.

My ecas is in process. Waiting for SA.

I am wondering if everyone they go to in process first and then get SA or I am the only one who is in process and waiting for SA.
