I read somewhere that if anyone travel more than 6 months (stay more than 6 months in one country) in the last 4 years only then submit PCC of the country where you live. Otherwise don't. Am i right ??

Even as a PR or international student, I never had to provide my fingerprints to Canadian authorities. I was totally expecting to get an FP request this time, but haven't got one yet.
I got an update on ECAS. It says "We sent you correspondence on January 24, 2018. If you have no yet provided the information or requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you received the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."
