Hey Kinza! I'm mostly a silently reader now but I was just reading your post yesterday about people being put in a mental box and I strongly agree with that. They thought and I quote that 'the development of our relationship was unusual as my husband obtained my MSN ID and we started communicating.' Although I clearly explained this was back in 2004 where MSN was all we had... so stay positive. Best wishes and prayers for you!

P.S. I received my pre-arrival services letter after PPR & DM.

Spousal sponsorship is never rejected without interview. It's a positive decision for sure. Congrats. Happy for you :)

Thank you this gives me a bit of relief. Hopefully hubby will receives PPR and pre arrival email soon. Thank you so much.

3 weeks ago I had interview and the officer said I am satisfied but I have not received any new news GCm shows my back ground is in progress really how long does it take ? Ma

Can you follow up with them through the sponsor's MP? That will be the fastest way of figuring out the delay.

Please reply on posts if you want others to be able to respond to your reply. Sponsor is the person sponsoring the spouse and their local Member of Parliament is MP. You can get the MP's immigration rep to look into your file with CIC. The sponsor has to sign a form giving them access to collect information etc. A simple google search will help you find who the sponsor's MP is based on their residential address.
