Hi All,

Is there anyone else out there who is waiting interview call ?
We applied in May 2017 and got an email on Nov.10th upon enquiring our status that our file is pending for an interview and its been around 2.5 months since then but complete silence from LVO.

I just want to know how many of us are waiting for interview call right now?

If someone got an interview call in Jan.2018, please share your timeline. Thanks

I am . I was asked additional documents on 9th November, submitted it on Dec 1.. with the amount of proofs i gave them i was expecting PPR but after no response emailed LVO and i was in interview queue . I am a second marriage case. Residing with my spouse since Feb 2017, gave them divorce certificate, reconciliation notices, communication proofs, tickets and boarding passes of trips taken together, letters that shows we are residing as same address, mu husband employee insurance card where iam stated as wife , my bank statement of Canada showing my funds there, not sure what else they will ask in interview ..

Thank you, I just hope it means we have cleared eligibility. I hope and pray all loved ones are united soon. This process is very cruel. All the best!

Sorry to be asking this again folks: I am just about to hand over my docs to the lawyer. I came across the NADRA marriage certificate and its missing the girl's father's NIC number. I checked few examples on google and thats how it is too there. Can any of you confirm if this is okay?

Yes my wife is also waiting for an interview, we got to know about the interview a couple of weeks back, i applied for her in May 2017. I think there are some other applicants here as well who are waiting.

Is it for certain then that our eligibility has cleared or can they be processing both simultaneously? I know the best way is to inquire through the MP but their office hours are from 1 pm EST and I am not a very patient person so anyone??

Yes I am also waiting on my wife interview in Islamabad. Second marriage case. We applied on March 2017, upon getting notes from GCMS it states INTERVIEW REQUIRED remark on Oct 2017 but no further information since.

Did you ask your MP / LVO why there is an interview and how long we must wait more ?
Also do you see any notes in GCMS regarding concerns for INTERVIEW ?

The notes i got in sept 2017 said my file is still awaiting initial review , applied again got them in Nov 2017, it had few concerns about communication proof and why my rukhsati was not traditional ( i had nikkah n rukhsati from my house & reception valima next day with around 250 guests) they wanted to see divorce documents, provided them everything and explained why rukhsati was from home plus few more proofs as we are residing together on dec 1, now i have ordered notes again on Jan 15 and still waiting so im not sure about the reason for interview, cant contact MP as im not in Canada
