and you may wonder why I got a letter from a random co-worker, he has been practicing a lawyer for over 15+ years and its a very prestigious law firm. I say there is some credibility here but I am curious to see how it all pans out..maybe all this proof may backfire I don't know, but I feel pretty confident so its a waiting game from here onward. I will keep everyone updated especially to the new Jan 2018 applicants. Let this journey begin.
people say that LVO usually updates the application status on "Tuesdays". is that correct? or just another rumor? when someone told me this it sounded sort of stupid, but still wanted to confirm from experts here. thanks

I agree with AHC, everyone here is focused on their own application and we all must satisfy the officer about our own case not worry about their caseload or slowing things down for everyone else, (sorry I knw selfish thought, but its true) and who are we kidden no one here is going to limit their proof of relationship to "reduce officer's caseload". If you feel satisfied with sending 10 pics do by all means and if you feel you need to send 40 to draw a clear picture, then I say you do what pleases you and I think its better to send ahead of time then waiting for them to request additional docs/pics which can take longer time on individual cases. I am no expert here so please don't follow what I am saying literally. I am sending a lot of stuff ahead of time ie. letters from family/friend/coworker. I think you got to think outside the box also. ie. one of my cooworker wrote a letter stating how he heard stories about us getting to know each other and leading to the wedding and saw pics from the wedding and also mentioned how he always sees me wearing my wedding ring. I think these will only make our applications stronger. Every case is different and I say do whatever you got to do to show its legit and of course be 100% truthful duh.
Regarding the letters from families, friends and co-works is absolutely necessary , and no max, number limitation and you did a good job. But you have to put your feet into VOs' shoes, they literally review hundreds, if not thousands of similar photos everyday, if you were them, would you want to look at 20 photos from each case that demonstrate every key moments of how applicants relationship keep evolving, while those 20 photos can connect all dots together to show every meaningful moments of two genuine couple's life, or you want review 40 or 60 or even hundreds of photos that basically showing the same thing again and again and again? I believe the CIC conduct a survey between those VOs and get the conclusion that 20 max. photos will be the most effective number to identify the genuine relationship and not to spend too much of time just on this alone. You do understand that there are more supporting documents that they need to review as well. Those are all need time to do it. Just think about it, if everybody just submit whatever the quantity they want, it will be a chaos. And if everybody insists that will be their own interests that they are looking after, then don't complain how slow the process is.

I totally agree, people who are submitting 10 pics from one event which shows exactly the same stage, and ppl are def. useless. Pics must depict genuineness, what is in the mind of VO only they are which makes it impossible for understand. I personally think that VO actually does not disclose how they actually assess our applications, if they did all those fraudulent would be flying through. Although they ask us for all these documents and proof, they are looking a lot more deeper into this that none of us actually know. A girl just recently got a decision within 6 months; her case is full of red flags if you follow all things people have been saying. She only submitted pics according to the checklist, had no honeymoon, wedding was very simple and short, didn't go to visit her hubby during the process, does not work fulltime and many other things that we would call a red flag, yet she got her decision so soon. Good for her, point is, they were able to assess her marriage was genuine, how? Only VO knows so in conclusion, I totally agree where your coming from.

The whole process is based on cause of probabilities. If someone can submit all key evidences to well cover the so called red flags, they won't have any issues to get approved. That is why some fake relationships get approval even faster than genuine ones. It is not because VOs lack of sense to identify them, it is because those fake evidences work effectively to cover all the short comes and strictly follow the guidelines that instructing the VOs how to review a case. And that is also why I said quality over quantities. If you prepare your application thoughtfully, 20 max. photos and 10 pages of communications are more than enough to show the genuine relationship. Are there people that required more? Absolutely. But in most cases, it is enough. Just be noted, Photos alone or communications alone aren't the decisive evidences to prove your relationship is genuine, they are just part of it. Heck, even couple has child together isn't a decisive factor to prove the relationship is genuine, let along those photos and chat logs. So, the 20 max. photos and 10 page Max. of communications are required for a reason.
Is there anyone else out there who is waiting interview call ?
We applied in May 2017 and got an email on Nov.10th upon enquiring our status that our file is pending for an interview and its been around 2.5 months since then but complete silence from LVO.
I just want to know how many of us are waiting for interview call right now?
If someone got an interview call in Jan.2018, please share your timeline. Thanks

how come? u mean if PA (female)is fake and married to Sponsor to get entry of Canada and even sponsor knows that he married to this woman or girl just to let her enter to Canada (pre-planned), can't believe a girl can go that far to lose her virginity and become a mother just to get entry of Canada?

with these so many red flags she got the immigration in just 6 months, then she must know someone very close to Immigration Canada. Everything is possible in Canada as well if you have good contacts and PR.

Oh, believe me it is actually happened a lot. People will try everything possible if they are desperate. Also, what I said is true that a couple have child isn't a decisive factor in the eyes of CIC, it is certainly a positive factor, but it is not decisive. There is a thread on this forum for all the appeal cases, you will see that tons of cases that have children or wife got pregnant, yet, their cases were refused by CIC.
