I guess you are applying for EduPlusExp route, right?

Then download the form and just next to experience table, you will get 9-10 BOK codes :)

I am in mobile now, so can’t just copy from there, sorry brother!
Thanks bro for all your help.

and sorry asking so many question.

i just paid for IQAS

but at the end it says
To complete the process, send your signed application package via courier or registered mail to:

so did you send via FAX and they gave you AOR ??

and while sending via FAX we only have to send our application or shall i send copies of degree n transcript again.

When I sent via fax, that was the second time when I requested a duplicate certificate. And nope, they didn't send any AOR, so I called them and they confirmed.

Don't fax on basis of my words, rather call them again and tell that you found some members in a forum who faxed you and it worked for them. So, if it's okay that you fax too.

And if you finally fax, then you just need to send the form that contains your previous application ID, that's important. You don't need to send transcripts again as they already have all the information from your former application.

Hi...

Seen in your signature, that you have complete ECA course by course. How that is different and where is it needed? Does the ECA for normal EE needs to have ECA course by course?

Course by course ECA is needed if you need any license, for example, I have applied for CIPS membership. For normal EE, basic ECA is enough and course by course ECA is not even needed for EE.

My noc is 2173 and I want to apply for SINP PNP. Could u pls let me know if WES document by document evaluation will work for acquiring SINP license and also can you elaborate on the below points which are required for ISP certification. Thanks in advance.
Overall Requirement
  • Appropriate mastery of the CIPS Body of Knowledge (BOK);
  • Adherence to the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Code of Ethics
  • CIPS Membership (Note: One can apply for the I.S.P. designation without being a CIPS member, but active membership must be held in order to hold and use the I.S.P. designation);
  • Provide detailed and descriptive employer or client references covering the two years preceding the application. The employer or client needs to be able to comment on your competence and confirm your work history over the last 24 months. The reference should be in a similar or higher professional level to you and cannot be someone who report to you.
  • A minimum of 1000 hours of professional work experience during the 12 months prior to submitting the application.
  • Application Fees
Dear All,

Can you please advise as to how many attempts are allowed for the CIPS Ethics exam.
In FAQ it says multiple attempts allowed but just above the launch button of the actual test it says - "Attempts allowed: 1"

So does it allow multiple attempts or just 1 attempt.

Thanks

For SINP Licence and specifically for I.S.P. there are multiple routes to obtain it. If you go to their website, they have tool to assess which route you can take. In my case I tiok education plus experience route. However first confirm this from them by sending them email at [email protected]. For the rest of the answers for your questions please see below.
1. As per your job duties (current and past), you have to decide in which bok list you are falling. They habe given this list in application form. As per that you need to mention this thing in application form but for education plus experience route and established IT professionals route.

2. WES evaluation should be course by course. Document by document they won't accept. For this if you have already completed WES in past than you just need to upgrade it to course by course. You can easily get this from WES website in your account. There will be some charges. Also make sure to send the copy of your wes report directly from wes to thier address written in application form. For this you have to add manual recipient in wes account.

3. Demonstrate knowledge of code of business ethics, this is online test with few questions that you need to clear. They have provided the link as well and highlighted the same in yellow on their website. This certificate you get in half an hour which you need to attach while application for the I.S.P. They will provide the document as well to pass the test.

4. CIPS membership can be obtain while filling the application form as they usually give that option too. So this will be covered once you fill the application form.

5. You need to provide reference letter(s) from your client or employer who can comment on your competence and confirm your last 24 months work with them.

6. Rest is explanatory about the application fees. They have given the link in which for particular Saskatchewan we have to pay mentioned amount with additional membership fee.

Let me know if you need any other clarification for the same.
Dear All,

Had a question on your Point 2. i.e WES evaluation should be course by course. Document by document they won't accept.

My question is ,I already had completed ECA and WES accredited my 4 year computer Science degree from India and mentioned "Bachelor's degree (four years)" in the WES Report- Is this what is known as course by course evaluation?

I only have my bachelors course to be evaluated as that is the highest degree i have.I didn't had any other higher study course so that WES could evaluate course by course. So would my existing ECA report be fine if I submit it?

Thanks

there are several options in the exam named by a, b, c, etc. that means multiple attempts. thus, just continue those options till you pass the exam

WES performs document by document evaluation by default until you guide them alternatively. therefore, you need to update your current evaluation to the course by course evaluation now. it costs additional hundred backs approximately and takes from 5 to 10 working days.
personally, i am in the process of my evaluation to be finished this friday.

by the way, to be exactly sure, just ask CIPS directly, that would be the best way.

Friends, I need help regarding the CIPS certification.
It will be of great help if there is anyone in this group is from non computer science background with NOC 2173. Will need their inputs to go ahead with the Education Plus Experience route?
I have more than 8 computer science courses in my Btech, but were taught from mathematics or electronics departments. Will the teaching department matter? Shall I go ahead with the Education Plus Experience route? or choose the Established IT Professional route?

Thank you in advance.
