Not worry but takes time and important steps are First Eligibility which you can get Passed with as much evidence and pictures and bills as you can even if they not ask to avoid any interview and Background which takes most of the time to help get police certificate from all places you have been to even if under 6 months but longer than 3 months also fill and send all kind of forms where asked from others in advance such as Travel History Form which might shorten the process inshallah.

Oh yes yes, I am actually sponsoring my husband. I was born and raised here, but my husband is from Pakistan. We submitted our application in August 2017.

I submitted well over the asked amount in pictures, evidence via social media and chats call logs. So I gave a lot of extras just in case.
In terms of background, they had already asked for the Police Checks and all, and the Travel History was submitted with the application. On the GC Key Account online, it still says that they are reviewing background and my husbands eligibility.

amna .. technically they should have touched your file by now, so go ahead .. they should have sent me a decision back in Dec as everyone else who applied in May were receiving PPR requests and I didn't .. so I applied .. there is no harm in applyin ..

Yea I should be getting a reply this month ....

you have to mention the relationship and what is going on in the picture .. if you can send more than 40 .. do so .. make sure you cover every rasum ..

what date did you apply? wow .. had your interview already .. lucky atleast your file progressed somewhat .. how did it go? well .. you should get some sort of reply from them in few weeks, if not days .. I am May 2017 as well and still waiting for some sort of reply from LVO ..

While people keep complaining the slow pace of the processing, people kept ignoring the requirements on the checklist and sending more stuff than it should be. Don't you know that it will increase your VO's work loads by reviewing those additional photos and chat logs, which, to be honest, doesn't make any difference by sending them 20 photos and 10 pages of communications? Quality over quantity, pick your photos and chat logs wisely to paint them a love story between you two, and strongly demonstrate a genuine relationship. If everybody follows exactly what is required on the check list, it will reduce the overall work loads of VO, and eventually save everybody's time.

Then by all means wait for their request for more. If they deemed your photos are staged or have some issues with them for whatever the reason it will be, then it doesn't matter you send them one or million. It's all about the quality, those VOs had tons of experiences to connect dots between your photos to provide them a general picture of your relationship (although not 100% accurate, they can make horrible mistakes too).

I agree with AHC, everyone here is focused on their own application and we all must satisfy the officer about our own case not worry about their caseload or slowing things down for everyone else, (sorry I knw selfish thought, but its true) and who are we kidden no one here is going to limit their proof of relationship to "reduce officer's caseload". If you feel satisfied with sending 10 pics do by all means and if you feel you need to send 40 to draw a clear picture, then I say you do what pleases you and I think its better to send ahead of time then waiting for them to request additional docs/pics which can take longer time on individual cases. I am no expert here so please don't follow what I am saying literally. I am sending a lot of stuff ahead of time ie. letters from family/friend/coworker. I think you got to think outside the box also. ie. one of my cooworker wrote a letter stating how he heard stories about us getting to know each other and leading to the wedding and saw pics from the wedding and also mentioned how he always sees me wearing my wedding ring. I think these will only make our applications stronger. Every case is different and I say do whatever you got to do to show its legit and of course be 100% truthful duh.
