True! Especially now that OINP has reduced the number of days to submit from 6 months to 45 days.

Why do you think they have only chosen the candidates in the CRS 440-446 range? Bear in mind that 446 was the cut-off point of the last draw. There must be a relation but I can't figure it out.

It totally baffles me why OINP has issued Noi to People with CRS 440-446. If we have a draw tomorrow all NOIs will be wasted. The only possibility is not to have a draw tomorrow and push CRS over 450 with a draw on jan 31 that will create panic resulting in the candidates in 440 range to waste 1500 dollars and take the NOI route. I will be very disappointed if this happens as it would just be a money making stunt on part of CiC. By the way I am at 446 since nov 21 and anxiously waiting for tomorrow’s draw. Also I did not receive NOI

Its possible. May be ONIP knows that there wont be a draw tomorow or the CRS cut off will be above 447.

The oinp page said they issued. 340 NOI to candidates with CRS 440-446 that's for the round that they conducted on the 19th of January.

Seems a bit confusing though not sure whether to believe the group message or not

They are yet to reveal the methodology. I believe they were giving noi to people who have a connection to Ontario.

OINP also mentioned that they issued NOI to EE profiles created between Jan 01 To Jan 19, 2018.


The results of yesterday’s round are as follows:

Number of invitations issued: 340
Date and time of portal search: January 19, 2018 at 3:00 EST
CRS score range: 440 to 446
Date Express Entry profile submitted: January 1, 2018 to January 19, 2018

I asked her to re confirm and she said, the client got it this year.
Said he was super lucky to get it ( don't know what that means honestly )
I am a little surprised too.

Unless Ontario specifies they are giving NOIs for below 400 CRS folks, it is not possible to get NOI under HCP stream. The super lucky folks were the ones who got NOI last year in June.

on the program update pages it is mentioned as :

"the OINP will post on its website a program update informing stakeholders of the methodology used to issue NOIs."

I guess they will publish the methodology as well along with criteria which would clear some of the doubts such as
EE creation date , NOC codes, CRS scrore , then I think it will be clear who can get NOI or not.
