Hello, my application received on nov 2 and I didn’t receive any AOR yet, I called cic and they said we don’t have any information. What should I do? I am confused. Should I go ahead and re apply or wait? Need some suggestions. Thank you.
I can now see my application in ECAS. I noticed a strange thing there. In mailing address they put my India's address even though I never gave that address in any forms. I have updated it with my Canadian Address using online service. Hopefully it updates in few weeks. But I was shocked to see that!
I had the same issue when my application went live on ECAS. My home address was my canadian address and my mailing address was my address in India from PR days. So I did raise a ticket through web form and also online link to change address. Guess what, now I don't see any home address on my ECAS and my mailing address is changed to my canadian address. I decided not to bother them anymore
I guess they will pick the correct address whenever they will start processing my application.
I am active . no AOR yet. Not too concern yet because life goes on with PR and have all necessary visas and no plan to book plane ticket on oath day. Only concern, how long my payment would be valid ? Asked this question many times but no one here knows or choosing not to answer because I am not going to act like a slave of some of the so called seniors here.
I couldn't find anything on validity on web and that what makes me think that there is no validity for online payments. It is like you have already paid from your credit card and payment received by CIC and it is there in CIC bank account, so there is no expiry to it. They need applicants to provide receipts so that they can verify the transaction details and link the transaction id with the applicant file/ UCI number and In case of any refund, they just send back the money to the card used.
I'll have one of the longer waits to go IP as mine has to get sent all the way back to Vancouver, which is supposedly a slower processing office too. Right now the average looks to be anywhere from 3 - 6 weeks! I got AOR 2 weeks ago and still no eCas update, honestly don't think it will happen until Mid Feb if I'm lucky.
