Actually where is your spouse's current country of residence.?

Also I have a question.

I am planning to apply for my SOWP Application.
Based on your experience I would like to know how much fund balance usually we have to show in the bank for our SOWP Application?
In my case my wife is working in Canada NOC - B Job
We both are from India.
So How much CAD my wife have to show?
And how much fund balance I have to show in Indian Rupees or CAD?

I got my application approved on 19th Jan i.e. after 6 weeks.
Actually me and my wife both are in canada. She is on her open work permit and doing job in NOC B. I was on my study permit.
No idea for balance to be shown if applied from India. We had submitted our bank balance certificate with 5000$ in wife’s as well as my account.

Your spouse is already in Canada? As per the processing time it takes 7 weeks ..within Canada..

i do not have access to CIC account and my lawyer is out of country, so I cannot check status of app if medicals is passed or not.
but I think if something changed in account I will get an email for that.

Hi All:

I'm a permanent resident of Canada. I have sponsored my wife for PR. She also has a visitor visa to Canada and she is in Canada now.

I have applied for SOWP and provided all documents that they request for (IMM5710, Passport Photo Copy, Letter of Explanation, Medicals).

Could someone tell me what is the processing time for this sorta application ?
