Mine was received on December 21st so I guess technically we're 2017 applicants! But I have a question that I thought I'd ask here and it also might help other people. I noticed after sending our application that this was mentioned on cic guidelines:
The order of documents should be as follows:
checklist;
open work permit application (and supporting documents), if applicable;
any barcode pages;
supporting documents, in the order they’re listed on the checklist.
Has anyone else missed that? Also for anyone who hasn't submitted yet, keep that in mind!
I have a queation
in this order list where to keep our PR application? Before Open work permit or after open workpermit?
Hello
I am in the middle of something . In June 2017 I have applied for spouse sponsorship for immigration to canada ( IN-class).
Now in January 2018 I’m also eligible to apply through express entry .
This in land sponsorship is taking so long . My advisor mentioned it would take at least 6 months but it is taking longer.
Can I apply under express entry and if one of application accepted then I will withdraw another one ??
Is it worth it, as I need my PR Quickly my job is dependent on that
Hey,
Thanks for that. When we got married, the officiant said he would get the certificate through faster, he said he could probably get one out to us in 10 days. I'll be content that it gets through faster than the 10-12 weeks.
in 2005 we got ours back in 3 weeks , but we did have to pay $75
I submitted my application last Friday (19-Jan-2018). Is there a tracking sheet here to track the progress?

Hello everyone!
I'm wondering if someone can help me with this:
I got my AOR on December, and they asked me to submit my police certificates. I did so, but the website kept saying they were not submitted to CIC. Today, I realised it was just waiting for my signature, so I did so. Now the message says: Replacement Provided. Does that means it is now submitted? I'm worried because today is the deadline for me to submit it.
Thanks for the feedback and good luck to all!
thanks. But seems the sheets are locked. I have requested the admin.
Does every applicant need to provide a police certificate? If so is this something that should be ordered in advance to save some time?
Thanks!

You can get married in a foreign country. If you can come inside Canada, you can apply via in-land sponsorship.
Or
You can also come here to Canada if you have a TRV or you're from a visa excempt country, get married here and apply in-land.
Note though: heard the CIC processes PR applications faster via outland.

We're about the same timeline. They received mine December 09, 2017. Still waiting for the AOR.
The latest I've heard was from someone who has gotten her application received last December 05 and got her AOR on January 19. Hopefully ours will come soon too!

Oh thank you so much.
However if i tell the border officials the truth that im traveling there to get married or for our wedding, would they let me in or refuse?

It's under their discretion though. I think it's better to tell them you're just here for a vacation.
