Yahoo..! I am so happy to announce that I got my application in progress finally within 2 weeks after AOR..

Citizenship Status

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 23, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 3, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on January 17, 2018 Please update the excel sheet kindly for point 3.

congradulations, can you confirm that i can update the application received to Oct 23rd as per this post? On the tracker it says Oct 20th

Yeah, I checked spam folder and it's not there. I know it can take few days. Same happened with the AOR.

yes, please update. It is 23rd Oct- application received date.

I sent the application for 4 members together. Principal applicant's PPQ is received and the file is submitted to local office. This is for a dependent in 4 members. So it doesnt require background check, criminality, etc. I guess your assumption is wrong.

The letter will give you the exact time and location. I got mine by email, check your spam folder or wait a few days.

Yeah I know. Its so frustrating especially since so many people who submitted after us have already received them... but hey... what can one do... it is a government department afterall... LOL
