Our background check changed today from 'your application is in progress' to 'we are processing your background check'. Is it a good sign? It's been more than 4months since MR and almost 2months since our interview. Kindly enlighten us please. Many thanks!

Hello,

Regular applicant, QSWP. We were called for an interview for further documentary evidence of our common law relationship. It's almost an hour interview, validating our relationship and as well as what is written in federal forms submitted. I was interviewed first, then after me, my partner was also called to confirm (we think) if we were consistent with our answers. One if the questions is what do we know about common law and when and how long is our relationship, something like that questions. Just tell them the truth and be consistent and calm is what we can advise.

Hi Friends,
The medical exam for me and my family was passed - as shown in my CIC. Lastly, we had a baby inside Canada. Should I inform them by email/call? Does it affect the progress of the process? Anyway, my PR application under QSWP. Thanks
