Hi everyone,

My question might be weird, but I really appreciate if you experts help me with following matter:

I submitted my EE profile almost a month ago. Now I want to check some of my information to make sure they are correct. If I change something, the profile will be updated obviously, which has negative influence as per tie-breaking rule. My question is if I don't change anything and just review my information, will my profile be updated after I click "save and exit" button even though I haven't changed anything?

Thank you
Even if you do edit your profile it has no relevancy to the tie-breaking rule as such is based on when you submitted your profile.

"Note, if you update your profile, the system will keep the original date and time stamp when you first submitted your profile. "

Thanks for explanation.

There's an unusual situation that really makes me worried. Could you please give me advice about it:

I officially finished my work in my first workplace on 10th of February 2010 while I started working for my second employer from 21st of January and, therefore, there are 20 days overlap between my first and second job. In fact, my first employer paid for insurance 20 days extra although I was in my second company from 21st of January. I was wondering what I should write for end date of my first job? Isn't it better to write "January 2010" as the end of my first job in order to avoid any ambiguities? what happens if there is a slight difference between my EE profile and reference letter in case I get an ITA?

Thank you

Well even if they paid those 20 extra days of insurance if you weren't working for such company anymore then you shouldn't have the overlap. Even if you request them a reference letter and they say you were there until Feb 10th you can add a LOE explaining the situation.

Hello Seniors,

It would be great if you could please help me out on the below please-
I am in the process of applying for my girlfriend's PR, she has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry and ideally her NOC falls under 3131 (Industrial Pharmacist) according to the roles and responsibilities. She has a MPharm & BPharm evaluated by WES. I have read conflicting stories on the forum that PEBC ECA is required for NOC3131 but have also heard that WES ECA is fine if a license was not required to practice the profession. She did not require a license to do her job and also she does not intend to practice as a pharmasist in the future in Canada.
Should we go ahead with NOC 3131 with WES evaluation or is PEBC a must?

Alternatively, her roles and responsibilities also match somewhat to NOC 4165 and we could make it work with the work experience letter. NOC 3131 (Industrial pharmacist) is a better fit than NOC4165.

The intended landing destination is Ontario.

Can you please advise what is the best course of action in this case?

I appreciate your response.

Thank You!

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and my question might be a little weird, but I highly appreciate if you experts help me with the following matter:

Before submitting an express entry profile, I assessed my eligibility, and CIC website confirmed that I am eligible to do so, however, after filling out express entry profile, shortly I received a message saying that I am not eligible for express entry. I filled out the profile three times and received the same message every time. This is totally weird to me since I have assessed my score under Federal Skilled Worker Program and I am sure that I meet the minimum eligibility criteria (i.e., my score is 69 out of 100. The minimum eligibility criteria is 67). I called CIC twice and the agents on the phone couldn't help me and told me to fill out a web form and explain my problem there. I did so twice and the answers I received were totally irrelevant to my problem.

I am completely confused and freaked out and don't know what to do! I don't know what is wrong with my express entry profile.
I appreciate if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions or even the same experiences.

Thanks a lot and I look forward to hearing from you!
Zara

Hi, can anyone tell if it is safe to enter Canada from a third country?
I am from India and recently got Confirmatiin for PR. I wish to go to Canada via a third country. My plan is a week or so holiday in Malaysia or Thailand. Will there be a problem?

Dear friends

My question is , is it better to hire a consultant or to open EE file by ourselves?
Regards
Hi,

In my humble view, in general, if you are aware about steps, processes and documents required and have time to upload on your CIC profile you should be good on your own. However if you require more guidance and are looking for detailed process consultants do help in that aspect greatly. But of course that option comes with a certain cost.

You can educate yourself about Canada PR process by searching online too. Minor problem with that is there is so much information available on web while we seek most relevant and direct information. One of the resources that I would recommend is

https://epmwise.com/canada-pr-2018-updates/

It has more in depth required information without much distractions. Hope this helps! Please share your reviews so that it might help other users too.

Thanks

your profile will be deemed eligible aslo if you miss some mandatory information like ECA, language test results... for the CRS points breakdown check this link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/criteria-comprehensive-ranking-system/grid.html

Hi @TanakaM

I am sitting on 435 and oinp might get open in February so do you think i should wait for direct ITA or prepare for oinp application submission?

Even if I get direct ITA, what do you think BY WHEN CIC can most probably get 435 as cutoff?

I am really worried cause of this uncertainty and I ll be glad if you can give me some advice brother. Thanks
