I had my oath yesterday at Mississauga office. I'm a Canadian citizen now. Hooray.
Thank you very much everyone on this forum for your support and wish you all the best during this process.
What is going on with Scarborough applicants? No updates for 3 months now... Anyone who wrote their test in Scarborough and got oath invite already? I am getting worried...

Mississauga applicants take oath in Scarborough??? That makes no sense...Ugh, there are no rules or reasoning how they process these applications...Mine has been "Decision made" for almost 3 months, I thought now the easiest and fastest part comes but apparently no...Some people already got their citizenship and forgot about it, and here we are still worrying...
I wanna ask my last paranoid question in this forum before getting my citizenship
My surname in citizenship application contains the letter "Ç" as in my foreign passport. But all my government issued IDs have that letter as "C" including my tax file. Would it create an issue in my passport application as my supporting identification documents will not have the exact same surname? I can still use my foreign passport as an ID but I am not sure about it as they may suspect my residence here.
Your legal Canadian name is now with the regular C.. we had a similar issue of the government dropping my partner's middle name, we were informed his legal name in Canada is First Last and all the foreign documents are First Middle Last.
Exam completed since October 10th....Still non Oath letter...I am usually a patient person, but what is disturbing for me in this case now, is the fact that I have a planned trio in the second week of March, which is expected to last a whole month. I am beginning to panic a bit about getting this done before I travel...Should I contact CIC and see what is holding this off 8 weeks after DM?

It comes through registered mail and requires signature. I missed delivery so they left me a card and I had to go to post office to pick it up. Was quite a walk at -15C but finally we are together after 5 year's wait - me and my passport
How many days did you wait before you received your passport? Did you do express processing? Planning a trip and I’m not sure if passport will make on the planned date. Thank you

YOu are welcome. I applied in person at passport office - if you apply by mail or at a receiving agent, it will be longer. Applying in person at passport office is the fastest.
