When were you able to check your status on CIC website

I landed on the 30th of November and still can not access it

I was able to link the application on 18th on Nov (landed on 17). Status changed to approved on 9th on Jan and got the email of status update on 10th of Jan.

But in my case it was approved Dec 22nd but i never got the card till today . I landed on Nov 1st at Sarnia

It is supposed to come in mail in 5 business days country wide. They have mentioned that If card is not received until 6 weeks then we should contact CIC, but we need to wait for 6 weeks first.

Just fill in the proper information. I was able to link mine in less then 6 hours of landing.
Few people had and have problems linking their application.

Hi!I've finally received my PR card, which I guess is the conclusion to my entire PR saga. Just to share my timeline/insights on the last step (PR card application), here it is:

Single Applicant - Inland
Nov. 14, 2017 - Landing via Etobicoke, ON
Jan. 6, 2018 (Sat) - Received an email from CIC/MyCIC acct says application for PR card approved.
Jan 10, 2018 - Received my PR Card (Toronto address). To those who were asking, the mail comes from Sydney, NS.

Also, after several attempts of linking my app to my CIC, I finally figured (with help from the forum) that I had to write my place of birth exactly as it is in my COPR (shortened name of place, etc.). From experience, CIC call center also told me that it is not possible to link NEW PR card application but I say keep on trying.

Anyway, good luck to everyone! This forum has been really helpful from beginning to end.
