It was returned as they did not find two IDs for the kids (although they were included).
Originally sent: 16 Oct, they received it on 19th Oct
Got the app returned on 27th Nov (it was dated 22nd Nov)
Resent application 27th Nov they received it on Dec 1st
Did the CIC give you any sort of priority when resending the application and who signed for the delivery the second time ? Also which address did you send to the second time (Adults or minors, courier or PO box) ? Thanks.
Can you share the email address that you received it from so we can white list it in our email please and nobody loses that imp.email in junk folder..
All the best for your test though!
Thanks a lot!
My test is Monday 22 January and I'm in Edmonton. Do they do tests and interview everyday? Mine 22 and your 23 January? I thought tests are conducted once every week or every two weeks.
I heard from a friend who was there last week that they were expanding the space through construction of multiple suites at CIC Office in Canada Place. That may have changed the way they operate now.

No, I don't think so that gave any priority. It took one month and 7 days (including Christmas and New Year holidays) before I got the AoR.
Different person signed the receipt of application.
They returned the whole application pack containing all five applications. They have added letters for each of the three kids mentioning that the two IDs are required. I saw that mine and my wife's application was wrapped in a paper band and a stamp was there saying this application is complete. There were stamps on all the pages that I sent as part of the application and supporting documents.

One of my friends was mentioning that they have received applicants who have sent applications 2-3 times and that by NO MEANS have accelerated the process. It made the overall process slower as they still have to open the files which were under the pile, for the same applicant thus losing time for a new file to be re-opened. I know sometimes it's highly nerve-wrecking to wait on getting AOR, but instead of re-sending applications twice and thrice, my advise would be to wait and pray to God and follow-up with CIC instead.
At the end of the day you do not want others to fall behind and suffer consequences, because of your wrongful decision.
Just an opinion, decision remains with the discretion of the applicants waiting.
