They are so cute I cant imagine that they make you wait so long. No words to describe. we should ask them doing voluntary job for one day so we can put envelopes in order they received just to avoid injustice to thoase who applied sonce long and never heard back.
When did you sent your app & when was it received ?
My app was sent Oct 12
Received Oct 16
I didn't hear back anything and no AOR yet .
I don't know what to do , I call call cnter and they told me they received the app but not yet opened .
Any advise ?
First, hi to all
Second, it is the first time I write here, I think...
Third, I have some questions:
I know some people get their DM the same day of the test/interview, others have to wait. For those who need to wait, they get an email notifying them that a decision has been made ?
I think the next step will be an invite to the ceremony, what is the next step after that?
And how about the passport? Can I ask for it right after the ceremony ?
The next step after DM is Oath invite which is sent out in email/snail mail. There will be instruction on what all documents you need to take for Oath Ceremony.
For passport, you need to apply for it in ServiceCanada office. You can usually apply in 3-5 days after your oath ceremony. Depending on your budget you can request an expedited passport as well.

My question is on form CIT 0205 ( 11-2017 ) E.
Question # 2: During the eligibility period, have you worked, studied or lived in any country other than Canada? NO or YES
I do not work or live in USA but I attended 1 week training twice in Houston Texas and Denver Colorado USA respectively.

This question is tricky, as you need to consider all your eligibility period which is 5 years before you apply to citizenship. if you only visited USA twice for 1 week each for the past 5 years then you answer NO. how long have you been in Canada, 1095 days or more?
