Thank you so much for the help fatima.rizwan and carl_johnson
Hello everyone, sorry for the long hiatus from the group. We got a PFL on Dec 22. Since then life has been dark gloomy and well hopeless. Don't worry I will share the details of the PFL here and how we are tackling it.
The officer thinks our marriage is not genuine because it's a love marriage and that is culturally unusual (Yup you read it right!).
They also asked for:
1) (yet again) Urdu NN
2) Photo of rukhsati
3) More wedding photos showing more guests etc
4) Communication proof since wedding
5) statement of when we decided to get married and when we informed our families.
So now we are:
1) Getting an urdu NN made, will attach a letter from registrar that English is legal but because CIC is insisting we are getting an Urdu one made again.
2) We don't have a picture of me sitting inside the decorated car, or being walked out by my family for various reasons. However we do have lots of pictures of all the other more fun stuff from the wedding, like dance performances, photo booth, on stage with lots of people etc. We are explaining (with evidence) why pictures were not taken at the time of our exit, giving a rukhsati certificate, showing pictures of us inside the hotel room where we stayed for 3 nights after wedding, photos of me inside his house with his family, and then my visit in spring of this year flight detail, visa and stamps on passport, receipts of shopping etc we did, lots of photos we took with family and friends during my trip. CIC needs to update its checklist either internally or online to ensure couples pay close attention to these details. Anyone else have the same issue and how they got out of it would really appreciate your help in this regard specifically.
3) Lots of pics in total maybe 250 for 3 events
4) communication proof since marriage and we have given proof of communication from 2008 - wedding date as well.
5) statement with proof of when we told our mothers, when they talked, when we decided to get married etc.
6) we have included as supporting evidence:
a) receipts of gifts we sent each other on birthdays and at random
b) money we transferred on birthdays and Eid
c) letters from family members explaining our circumstances at wedding, missing rukhsati photo, vouching that our rukhsati has indeed taken place etc
d) My name on my husbands work health insurance, his name on my CRA profile
e) facebook posts of friends and family wishing us anniversary, us writing on each others wall, wishing birthdays, comments and likes of friends on our wedding pictures etc
f) communication between his family and myself, and my family and him. We are in each others family groups screen shots of that, screenshots of his conversations with my family or my chats with his siblings etc
g) other messages of friends on whatsapp where we are talking about my spouse, or he is talking about me with other people etc
We have also hired a lawyer in Canada who will argue that not everyone follows the same traditions, and if the marriage is legal and genuine then rejecting based on not following traditions is a form of discrimination. We have prepared a 550 page long document which the lawyer is going to review in the next few days until our Urdu NN is done. Wish us luck and any suggestions regarding the lack of photo at the time of rukhsati will be greatly appreciated.
We are hoping for a positive response, but that is all we can do.
Thanks.
Spreadsheet updated. check ur inbox.
PFL is procedural fairness letter. It is them giving us a last chance before rejecting our application. All the best with your process.
No they won't refuse ur application right away. PFL is more like a chance to provide explanation/more proof before they put you in the interview queue. I have never seen a spousal sponsorship case refused without an interview.
Hope that is not the case and they decide to waive your interview after seeing your detailed response.
Can anyone help please?
After realizing its going to take 6+ months for the whole process I've decided to visit my wife in Pakistan during the process. Is that a good idea?
Should I not visit? Someone told me it will take longer if u visit as they put your file on a back hold. But people always say things. Can anyone give me accurate info?
I plan to inform LVO abt my visit once I'm done.

Thank you.
Its a good idea and gives positive impression to the visa officer of your genuine/continued relationship. If you are a PR you should not stay outside for more than a couple of weeks while the application is in process. If you are a citizen, then staying outside Canada is not a problem but you will be asked to provide proof of intent to return to Canada in case u decide to stay in Pak during the whole process.
In my case, my husband visited me 7 months after the wedding which was 5 months after the application submission. He came for 3-4 weeks and after he went back to Canada, we submitted his visit proof( tickets, boarding passes, lots and lots of pics of us during our stay, receipts etc) voluntarily to the london visa office. We also noticed in the gcms notes that the visa officer had written that "Sponsor recently visited Pakistan. Satisfied that sponsor is resident in Canada. Eligibility passed" So its all positive as long as you do it correctly and let them know.

Wow! At first glance this message is enough to scare anyone who has LVO as their VO. Thanks to you, for sharing everything in so much detail. I can understand the situation does seem gloomy but do not lose hope, because Allah kisi insan per uski istataat sy zada bojh ni dalta. Allah ny azmaish me dala tu uska hal apky pass already tha. Like you got a PFL but Masha Allah you have everything that proves, your relationship is genuine. And In shaa Allah you'd be successful in proving that as well. So no one should panic at all, instead hope for the best for themselves and the others as well. Allah behtr kry ga sb k liye. In Shaa Allah.

Thank you for your kind words.
Also I would add, anyone who has ever read any of my posts will know that I was dead against sending proof voluntarily, but CIC has shown that they themselves are not organized nor have any idea of what they are doing!
So all new applicants, if your sponsor visits you, or even if not, send in voluntary evidence of communication or whatever else you can a few months after you file is sent to LVO. CIC asks for 10 pages of communication and 20 photos then complains you didn't include enough communication or pictures. Well which is it CIC more or less?!

I agree.
To all new applicants : Please do not send limited pics and communication proof based on what is asked in the checklist. I think that doesn't apply to Pak applicants. If u send limited pics and comm proof, then be prepared for an additional doc request.
Sending in voluntary proof (visit and updated communication proof) will only save u time and will help the visa officer make a better decision on ur file in light of those proofs.
This is my response to those who say "you must never send anything to CIC unless asked for it".
I agree.

What to learn exactly?
We didn't submit our urdu NN so should I get it made and send it vol?
And we haven't send any communication proof or financial support proof, ( ab bhaij dena chahiye ya wait karein)
We have all nikkah signing pictures and bride leaving hall etc, but haven't asked for it.
(July 2017 applicant)
I don't have exact dates so i cant be added to the spreadsheet. Apologies.
