Check your ecas and CIC account in 1-2 weeks, they both should indicate that the medical tests have been passed. After that you have to wait a few months for RPRF (if you hadn't paid it upfront), then a couple of months for DM (or additional documents request if applicable).
Good luck!
Thank you for the information. Actually, the RPRF was paid with the application. So, I will be waiting for the DM after my medical test is passed. Thanks again

However you can also check whether the same is linked with your application by checking on Ecas while selecting the Identification Type as Receipt Number (IMM 5401) and Putting the Receipt Number in the Identification Number column.
Good Luck

Anyone knows how to cancel an existing application? I applied extension to my work permit and it is still in process, meanwhile my PR application was approved. I figured I'd best cancel my work permit extension?

Thanks Buddy for your help...
Hi guys, need urgent suggestion/help. I sent my passport to Ottawa for CoPR on 9th December. I couldn't send it before as I was out of country. I have no update till now but I need my passport by 5th Jan as I am travelling again. I don't think Ottawa Visa Office will process my passport right after the holidays so it could reach me on 5th. Do you have any suggestion on how to get my passport back (with or without CoPR)? I was planning to visit the mailing address on 3rd or 4th and talk to someone there. Any other suggestion/s? Has anyone encountered similar issue in the past?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Happy New Year to everyone.

sorry buddy, but I think the chance you can get your passport back is very low. CIC won't come back to work until Jan 2, and it will take at least 2 days to get your passport delivered. The margin of error is too small. I actually have same concerns: my scheduled travel is Jan 8, but I will wait till I got back to email my passport to CIC.
But I guess you can always try to call them? But do make sure have a plan B ready.
Thank you for sharing. I agree, the window is very narrow but I had no choice. I will call them on Jan 2nd and plan to visit Ottawa office on 4th. However, I don't know the Ottawa visa office location. All I have is the postal address where we sent our passports. I have to leave Canada on 5th in order to reach the destination on time.
Thank you again. Will see if anyone else has any suggestion.
