You mean you have a new passport ? ... Well, i don't believe it is necessary to update CIC , as they don't mention it.

But... if you want to be sure , just use the form for case specific inquiry , or simply send an email to your Visa office. That's what I did. (included all my info , ICU , app number, address, name, birthdate, etc , + a scan of the first page).

Dear Friends,

I thought of asking this question and see your view.

Do we have any advantage of applying Federal application between Mar-Aug timeframe instead of Oct-Dec. This is just to understand if there is going to be any delay in final processing(DM) when we apply Oct-Dec because of CIC quota for that year getting over. I checked the Timeline sheet and found that friends applied between Mar-July in 2016 got DM in on and average 330 days. At the same time those who had applied in Oct-Dec got after 380 days.

Any idea on processing time in Mar-July 2017 this year

Is it possible to have submitted my PR application after CSQ to Sydney, Nova Scotia since July and not to receive any acknowledgement from them? Because this is my situation, am beginning to get worried.

I received my AOR about 2.5 months after sending my application. And most of the applicants receive their AOR around that time too. So yes it is kinda weird although there have been some delays. Contact them and ask them about it to be 100% sure.

Usually CIC provides the AOR to an applicant in 2-3 months and maximum in 90 working days, but in your case it is quite late. I would recommend you to send them query regarding the same.
Good luck.

Hi dear AliChraim

I think this doesn't mean the DM however it is a good sign in your application that you have received the Pre Arrival Services email.
Hopefully in a week or two you may get your DM.

Wish you all the luck dear.
