Yea! On a visitor visa. I had stayed longer than the 6 months validity to stay, and didn’t extend my stay before submitting an application for spousal sponsorship and OWP.

We applied around May 2017 and last time I heard from IRCC was months ago... Anyone who applied in May? Any updates? Have you already done your medical exam?
Yea! And I didn’t apply for an extension.
Before submitting Spousal Sponsorship & OWP application. Hence, I was out of status, and they will have to wait for Approval In Principle( first stage approval), before issuing my OWP
No, the clinic you went to will do it all for you. I would check ECAS to see if CIC received the medical. My medical was received after 10 days, it could depend from clinic to clinic, and also on how fast CIC updated that info on ECAS.

Schedule A and police clearance asked on 1 August 2017
Sent everything on August 15, 2017
after that received an e-mail we haven't received anything yet and probably cic has lost the package
Then again on Sep 10, 2017 we sent everything online schedule A and Police clearance and we have been assured that everything has been received.
All fees have paid upfront $1050.
Since then all it says file in Process no medical Yet.

Just wait and watch, I applied in April and got Medical in mid of November.
Got my application send out on October 31,2017 and they received my package on November 2nd,2017.
And haven’t heard anything since then.
Am I suppose to hear something?
I’m waiting to hear if my spouse can sponsor me, doe anyone have an idea of how long this takes?
