I have a question regarding the additional documents request. I want to know what immigration is asking for, besides the NOA or proof of income.
Can the people who got this request specify what immigration ask for? Just want to be prepared.

I also want to know if anyone has sponsored their parents using a brother or sister living in Canada as co-signer.living in different houses.
Do you know if this is possible? Or the cosigner should be only husband / wife?

I didn't receive any email about this. I found out when i checked the application status website.

The application was sent mid November, and I received an AOR email today (Dec 21) with the application #. The PDF letter did mention that my application was "accepted" under the intake cap for 2017.

Does that mean that I am approved as a sponsor?

Please advise.

Hi there, i’m On the same page as you. I. Received the email from CIC today saying that i got accepted for 2017 intake which means we have complete paperwork now they will start processing our applications. It doesn’t mean that we got sponsorship approval.

Can someone please let me know after you receive your AOR, how much time does it take for anyone to receive Sponsorship Approval mail ?

not yet, they just accept your package and its complete. Sponsor approve - next step.
If you meet LICO for 3 years - don't worry
