Anyone applied a Student Permit from Philippines?

Good day po sa lahat! Newbie ako here. I have a question to ask for clarification po sa lahat. I have read previously in this thread regarding notarized and original copies of docs na ipapasa sa VFS and may nabasa ako na some have sent notarized copies, and to the most extent, originals pa nga, and a few eh photocopy lang okay na.

Please paki-clarify naman po ang lahat ng to kasi inaayos namin ung mga documents ko ng husband ko and ung sponsor namin sa Canada duda na original at notarized ang need kasi hindi naman daw uso ung fraud doon kasi may pupuntahan ka kung hindi ka sumunod hehe.

I'm sorry to hear about your refusal. I know it can be devastating but I hope you get back on your feet quickly.

If you plan to reapply again, I recommend applying for CAIPS notes so that you know your specific refusal grounds and address them accordingly. This is not a requirement as others have reapplied and successfully received permit approvals without the notes however, if you want to exert all effort to make your SOP stronger, CAIPS would help immensely in this aspect.

It’s 2nd refusal. 1st was for visit last 2015.

Sorry to hear! I also got mine a few hours ago and it was also refused, for the second time. But this time there were more reasons for refusal. Purpose of visit..etc..etc.. But anyway, I feel really bad but life doesn't stop here although it seems it did for a while..lol

Hi. Depende sa officer na tatawag sayo. In our case (SP & OWP), ang question lang is about sa address in Canada, but some officers have many questions. Better be prepared and pray na dun ka sa tahimik na officer. Anyway, we landed in Vancouver last Dec 16.

Ang isstamp ng Canadian Embassy ay student visa. Kailangan mo ito para pasakayin ka sa eroplano bound to Canada. Once nasa port of entry ka na (Airport sa Vancouver or Toronto) dun ka isscreen ng immigration officer at sila magbibigay sayo ng student permit, document na kailangan mo para magstay sa Canada at magaral.



Hindi. Hindi ka hahanapan ng air ticket ng immigration officer kung papasok ka as international student sa Canada.

Kung sakali man mga vistors ang hinahanapan ng return ticket lalo na kapag short term lang sila sa Canada.

Yes kapag 2 years lang pwede full time. Kapag 2 1-year tapos eextend lang later on maapektuhan application mo for PR later.

I only bought a 1 way ticket because my program was 2 years at that time and there was no issue naman. Have a safe trip!

You know how you cannot work BEFORE the class starts. Parang ganun rin yun. If you work in summer at hindi ka 2 years course, pwede kang ideny ng PGWP kasi ginawa mong WORK permit ang status mo. So the safest way to work full time in summer is kapag between siya ng 2 years course.
