May 24, 2017 applicant here. Just checked my application status using GC Key and they are asking for more documents, it says: "We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details". I guess theyve updated this somewhere this week. Also we have not received any kind of email from LVO about any additional documents, will probably get an email soon. Ive also applied for GCMS notes last week, hope to get them in the first or second week of Jan.

The status is updated because u ordered GCMS notes. Its a system bug.

You should try contacting a different MP. Mine gives more detailed info about what stage they're on. Or at least order notes, since it's been more than 17 months

We're at security screening stage (similar to yours). Criminality is passed, Medicals passed, Eligibility passed. Security screening's been ongoing for +6 months now.

My case is also at background check from last six months with total time of 18 months passed already, I think they are not getting any feedback from concerned people in Pakistan. Same like a file laying on desk of Pak Govt Officer and he dont give a damn for months. Ab yahan se Allah hi nikal sakta sakta hy :-(
