Depends on how long your iom centre sends it to the cic. Mine sent results on 28(6 days after medical)and I passed it two days later.

Yes. I mailed them to inquire the status of my application so they sent me an acknowledgment mail that they have sent it to cic. It took 6 days because they dont work on weekends and also on mon and tuesday it was off in Lahore due to dharna.

I think they check if a person has a clean record, or clean enough so he/she is not a threat to their country in terms of health and security.

already submitted their PFL reply in october
again sent email for inquiry last friday

i really don't want to use abusive lang here
but still i want to say wake up BC
atleast remedical hi send kar do
yaa decision hi dy do haan ya na whatever
but atleast don't hang us in between and don't waste our time
so we can plan something other

Can someone brief me on what kind of questions are asked upon first entry to Canada after receiving? Like what kind of questions do the Border Officers ask the immigrant, what documents would be required?

We have submitted the passport to VFS office yesterday and got an email that application has been forwarded to the Canada visa office, Abu Dhabi UAE.

We received a letter from LVO stated that submit your application to Islamabad office but why do they forward the application to Abu Dhabi?

There a bug on their system, if you try tracking it online it'll show it correctly as Islamabad.

How long exactly does it take for the file to be transfered to LVO? It's been two weeks since I uploaded additional docs and no progress yet

There is no exact time for anything in this process. My file took around 3 months before it was transferred to LVO.

you applied in July 2017? if so, you still have a few more months to go according to spreadsheet, so far may is being worked on as it seems on spreadsheet
