So don't panic people after you receive AoR before you (as lots of later people seem to have received this before me!)

Here’s to hoping we are early next week!!!! And bonus I checked OWP application times and it’s saying only 7 weeks now so that is a huge drop since we first applied as it was 11 weeks!!! So if timelines are correct should have OWP by mid Feb!!!!

that’s what they called a landing interview. it’s not an interview that will check whether your relationship is genuine or not. you must have provided sufficient evidence to show it is genuine.

the letter you received is exactly the same letter i got when i became a PR. about the interview to prove your relationship i have no idea about that. but at this point i’m pretty sure you no longer need that because they’re already asking you to go for the landing interview. it means you provided enough proof that the relationship is real therefore the application is approved. that landing interview based on my experience is not even an actual interview. it’s like you just have to appear there, sign the papers that’s it. they will tell you congratulations you are now a PR wait for your PR card in the mail in 4-6weeks.
for the proof of cohabitation i’m not sure about that. my experience was when i became a PR myself and not from the spouse sponsorship.

July applicant here, nothing from OWP. Called them, emailed them, and still nothing.

Hubby is May 18, 2017 applicant. Received medical request November 24. Completed Dec 1. Hopefully it goes quick

So if someone applied on Apr 11 and received Med request on Nov 15 and your husband on Nov 24 they did one month in 9 days?? Hope June applicants will receive it soon then!

I requested the visitor extension on September 5, my visitor status expired on October 21. I did not receive any news about my extension request.
I received AOR from the PR application on November 25.
Does anyone know how long it will take to hear something about my extension request?

Just want to share my OWP application was returned due to insufficient payment. I sent them a copy of the receipt of the lacking fund or payment thru the webform but they still returned it.

with your AOR, you are already on implied status. your application for extension might be cancelled. i’m not so sure about this so wait for more answers from the experts here.

No. We havnt received any AOR for Work permit. I linked my application online. I received my work permit approval message yesterday and waiting to receive it in our mailbox. It almost took 3 months time

How did you link your work permit application online without AOR? I don't have an application number or anything since we applied by paper and when I enter the other details it says there is no application found...

Also, is it common to not receive any AOR for OWP?
