Can you explain the procedure of how you got approved? and what's the fees of TRV?

Yes, I can explain briefly.
I started the visa application from Cic myaccount page.
They ask different questions and create a customized checklist.
I filled all forms and supporting documents.
I attached each one in proper section online.
Finally, it directed me to pay the fee.
I paid the fee and did my electronic signature.
Visa fee was 100$ and Biometrics was 85$.

After an hour I received confirmation of application and letter requesting biometrics. Got everything done next day.
Then complete silence for a week and received approval today

Hi all,
I think i already posted this before. My file went to LVO on 27 sept and started processing on ecas on 13 OCT and silence since then.
when i sent the file I sent my kids Limited validity ppt copy and a copy of AOR of the citizenship application. now i have recieved CItizenship certificates of my kids. should i send LVO the citizenship certificates? I believe it might help. and how should i send them the copy via email? mentioning UCI of my PA. please suggest.

any one who has sent additional documents to LVO can guide me what to do and how to send it. i.e coverletter and certificates as attachments in email etc.

I sent my voluntary docs to LVO via Fedex. I put in a cover letter addressed to the Immigration officer in LVO. I quoted my applictaion number and below that i explained what I sending and why. Keep it simple, clear and to the point.

Are they satisfied with the explanations to there queries that i provided them on 12 November and now after medical done how long will it to make a decision

Yes looks like they are satisfied so before issuing visa, they want a remedical. Usually decision is made after 2 weeks of getting a re medical.

Aryan I'm sure u submitted a kick ass application by the sounds of it. But i think another factor for trv approval is that ur PR application is close to approval as well since u got a re med request few days ago.

My application was recieved on the 27th of october.

expect minimum 6 weeks from the day they received your app to get your AOR1. if you have a lawyer it should not delay things but try to stay on top of it yourself also. lawyers have multiple clients to look after.

it will be 6 weeks for you as of dec 8, so either you will get something on 8th or the week after. dont worry about it too much

My wife will call them for medical appointment tomorrow. Just curious nowadays how long does it take to get appointment date last year we got the appointment in one week in karachi

Hello guys,
Here's an update on our file; March 3 applicant(nikkah on Dec 23, 2016)
CIC is requesting pictures of rukhsati and time spent together after marraige. We had never indicated that rukhsati was completed. However it's planned for Dec of this year.
I'm thinking of attaching an explanation letter with proof of all the family members coming with tickets and also hall reciepts.
Has anyone been in this situation recently?

Background check says "We are processing your background check" and also received a letter for "Invitation of Pre-Arrival services"

Is this good news? or ok news? Atleast something is going on.

When my MP obtained an update from LVO, she was told to ask for another update in 7 weeks. Does that mean that in 7 weeks a decision will be made? It will be 7 weeks next Friday and I’m hoping by then we get the PPR. Our BGC has been in process since Sept.

Hey just wanting to know if ur MP updated u after 7 weeks?
Visited my local MP today and Masha'Allah Laanti visa office still stuck on reviewing Eligibility after 12 damn months! Bgc still not started. And im also told that 2016 applicants still have 18 MONTHS processing times listed. *insert gaali here* yup being punished for applying in 2016!
He also told me he will give me an update after 7 weeks. Just wondering if it helped u in any way? Thanks.
