did you still have to take photos of yourself? i read on the medical request letter that if it is emed then you dont need to take photos?

No they take your photos at the centre. They would tell you what you are required to bring when you'd mail them for appointment.

How lon

I received an email from CPC Missisauga, saying they transfer my file to London Visa Office. I already submitted my Police Clearance, Medical and Schedule A to CPC Mississauga when they asked before sending my file to LVO.
File is transferred to LVO on 27 November, The only line that is added to my ECAS is that Medical Result received.

Still no email from LVO confirming the receipt of the application. How long it takes LVO to send confirmation email

I see. My ecas got the medical received line on the same day, it said, you have passed medical exam on gckey. I uploaded pcc and sched-A on Saturday, last week.

File hasn't transferred to LVO as of yet. In Shaa Allah it will be there soon.

May be LVO is overrun by applications or they are slow

Lawyer are good if you get a professional one. The problem is that lawyer consider your application as a routine thing and they will send your documents etc only on dead line given by CIC. Even yiu provide them all document a month ago but they will wait until date arrive. That is why lawyers are deadly and delay your application.

If you get a good one who really care about his profession and your application , then he can save you from many extra requirements from CIC. he will provide the requirements to CIC in efficient way and your applicaiton will be smooth

Hello my fellow members

Alhamdullilah My application for multiple entry temporary resident visa for Canada was approved today
We called IRCC and received the passport request for visa stamping. I had applied online on Nov 22nd, 2017 and did not expect of any approval. I am over the moon excited right now
I did my remedical for PR already. I asked IRCC rep about my expected PPR and what could I do if I will be in Canada when I receive it. His version was that I could request CPC Mississauga for getting it stamped there if I will be in Canada. Anybody has any idea about it?? Because we don't want to wait for PPR to come I wana fly in a week if I get visa stamped in couple of days

It's so weird. My September notes said that Security was "in-process by CBSA". Now my December notes says that Security has not yet started and that the file is put away

Security even if passed will just show blank ,, not started or blank can mean is passed ,
Info sharing they ask USA about you crossing borders and so on is part of security.

If criminality is passed could be that you wait final review
