We landed on October 12th. We've been waiting the cards to our friend's address, (we are now out of CA) should I call cic and ask for the status?

Do they inform us when they send the cards, is there any tracking number for the mail, or should we call and ask it?
Our cards supposed to be sent to our friend's house in BC, we should inform him to wait for the posts.

First i called the cic agent & she told me that cards send out , and then checked online account... approved,before i didn't see any updates except yesterday.

Hi guys,

Did my landing with spouse on Sep 8, case approved date Oct 27 and 31 respectively. Still waiting to receive our PR cards at our canadian address in edmonton. Is this normal or should I contact CIC?

Just called cic (waited more than 40 mins) and found out that me and my family have to resend photos
I asked the officer if we will have to wait for 2 more months after sending the new photos, and she told that we may wait even more, because picture renewal que is so long in nowadays...
I complained that we paid utmost attention while taking the photos and never expected a failure.
She answered back that their machine is so picky!

Now, I have to find a good photographer, get proper photos, re-send them to Canada and wait for 2 more months...

Call them and ask for the status.
They are helpful. If there is a photo problem, they ask your e-mail address and send the instrcution e-mail right away.
I just did the same.
