i don't know if any of you guys know this, but do you know who does our background processing update? is it our visa office or Mississauga at the end of the process?

true and also, maybe his/her spouse had a smaller travel history, addresses, easier background processing in general.. could be a lot of things. wish there was some clarity
It is just not 1-2 people I believe it is 80-20 rules of management which states 80% of the work is done by 20% and vice-versa. I am sure our files have been assigned to those 80 % slackers who are only 20 % efficient.

You may be right... but the processing rate is very low compared to few months back.. i feel BGC is multiple steps.. some where there is so much backlog.. causing all delays.. hoping for best to all...

Today i recieved a response for an email enquiry on my application status.. got below response...
“Kindly note that background checks are pending for your application. As soon as all statutory requirements are met, we will finalize your application”
Any one recieved above response anytime? Is it some standard response they give looking at application status?
Not understanding how much checks they do...
