Hi,

I posted this on the other October 11thread, I think this is the right thread where I should have posted this.

I didn't received any email, but when I checked my status online this morning this is what I got,

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 18, 2017.

If this AOR please update. Not sure of the date when, but most probably Nov. 24 (Friday) unless CIC worked Sat and Sun.

Good news for Oct 12,13,16 applications. I just received AOR app received on Oct 16. I am among those folks who called CIC and agents told app is returned or mail is lost.

Hi, does anybody know if the status in ECAS changes when they receive your application before getting AOR?

App delivered on 16th Oct and no AOR, and when i check ECAS with my UCI, it says 'We are unable to identify you'.

So just curious if it should change or can you get AOR even if it doesn't as some people in the forum have mentioned that an error like that means they haven't even opened the application.

Wait till you receive AOR Email. Ecas is active 24 to 48 hours after that email.
