Hey guys,
It's been a little more than 13 months for me and I haven't received a MR. Spoke to my lawyers and they emailed the Kingston Visa Office about it. The following day the Trinidad and Tobago Office emailed them back saying that my file was in queue. I checked the CIC website and Kingston oversees applications from the Bahamas.

I remember there being a situation with someone in this forum that had to have their file transferred to the proper office a little while back. Should I push for the transfer of my application or leave it as it is?

CIC can transfer file to any VO based on work load. I doubt if you can get it changed. Check this link:

Finally IRCC updated the data, it seems that 25 000 QSW application have been approved this year. So 4000 CoPR will be proceeded till the end of this year!!! Hope we will hear some good news this week also...

Thank you for sharing.

But I don't see it as a good news, please correct me if I was wrong.

Here is an excerpt
Planned Quota: Quebec Skilled Workers and Business low: 28,000 high: 31,200 target:29,300
Up to Sept 2017: 33,590 admitted under economy class to Quebec, seems the target was met already.

A detail breakdown:
Worker Program: 11865(Canadian Experience) + 8195(Care Giver) + 250(Skilled Trade) + 7865(Skilled Worker) = 28,170
Business Program: 15(Investor) + 205(Self-Employed) + 45(Start-up) = 265
Provincial Nominee: 5150

Total = 28,170(Worker) + 265(Business) + 33590(PN) = 33,590 > 29300(target)

I think that the total applications proceeded under economy class is 25 000 not 33 000.

This is definitely encouraging! But I wonder what the "high" and "low" numbers mean? Are they the minimum & maximum number of immigrants that can be accepted?

So still 4000 from sept or from now ?

in both cases 4000 is a lot , so we can hope that we will get PPR before 2018

My opinion is, looking at the table, that 20,580 QSW were admitted by the end of September. Do not look at the Econimic total-row, but the worker program Skilled worker -row (109). Also, the 28000-31000 target includes business, which is about 3000-4000, and it has exceeded target this year already (4155 by the end of Sep). In this webpage http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dp/2017-2018/07.asp#toc1-1-3 each program is divided into their own target numbers and the QSW without any others is 24,400-27,200.
So they still could admit 3820-6420 applications between Oct-Dec this year, which is not that much. Unless they are trying to hit the higher target, but then they will have to start working really hard.... Or maybe it is just an illusion that no decisions are arriving in this forum, but the general feel is that everything has slowed down significantly (also because the processing time went up to 14 months recently...).

Things seem to be moving:
Guy who had his DM two days ago (17oct app) had his ready for visa today.
Another one (14oct app) ....ready for visa today.
And a third (20oct app) ...ready for visa today.
Another 17oct app ....dm 20nov ...ready for visa today.
All of these are french and inland ( i suppose)
By french you mean applied through PEQ?
